Although the Chrysler 300 got its last redesign way back in 2011, this big American sedan is still relevant on the market and soldiers on for yet another model year with minimal upgrades. Thus, the 300 heads into 2020 with a few new paint colors along with two new appearance packages: the Sport and Red S, both of which add slight styling tweaks including some distinctive accessories. Hands down, that suite is the biggest news about the sedan. On the outside, it brings specially designed badging and 20-inch wheels, all finished in a Black Noise color. Besides, this suite gives the Chrysler wing badge red inserts. When upgrading to this package, customers can also have a Radar Red interior. However, it isn't available across the board. Owners who want to better differentiate their vehicles can further upgrade them with 2020 Chrysler 300 accessories and parts offered in the aftermarket.
The Sport Appearance Package adds another bunch of uniquely-designed exterior parts. To wit, it brings a 300S grille that features a black chrome surround along with black headlight bezels and gloss black window surrounds. Models upgraded with the suite in question also boast black LED taillights and unique chrome wing badges featuring black inserts. The package adds the 19-inch Black Noise wheels to all-wheel-drive versions. However, rear-wheel-drive models will get larger wheels (20 inches in diameter).
Inside, the car continues with the same generously spacious interior without any significant changes. The base version comes with cloth seats and just a few comfort features, while upper trim levels bring far more of them including a steering wheel carefully wrapped in leather. The car is equipped with Chrysler's Uconnect infotainment system to make any trip as enjoyable as it is comfortable. That system is equipped with an 8.4-inch touchscreen offering an easygoing interface and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible. As far as safety is concerned, all models save for the entry-level one are available with the automaker’s SafetyTec Plus package.
The 2020 version got no mechanical changes, which means it rolls out with the same engine options. A 3.6-liter V6 is standard. It punches out 292 horsepower in the base trim and 300 horsepower in the 300S. A 5.7-liter HEMI V8 that is capable of producing 363 horsepower powers the 300C. It can also be had with the 300S. Both mills work in tandem with an eight-speed automatic. The Chrysler 300 remains one of a few vehicles in the large-car segment available in a rear-wheel-drive configuration. However, those drivers who want the advantage of all-wheel-drive traction for foul-weather driving can have it with the standard engine. To take their driving performance to a higher level, many owners go aftermarket. Suspension upgrades along with engine and air intake mods are the most popular modifications made to this vehicle, and we have the right 2020 Chrysler 300 parts and accessories to get the job done.
