The Nissan 350Z, produced in 2003-2009, was praised for smart technical design (FR-layout, V6 engines, 5/6-speed automatic/manual gearbox), rather sharp handling and great value. While its exterior was characterized by a protracted hood (typical for the Z-series) and high waistline, the 350Z also had some recognizable interior attributes: aluminum elements and the main gauge pod integrated with the steering column. The coupe came in five trims. The Enthusiast was different from the base in having traction control and VLSD; the three other trims had 18-inch wheels and were distinguished functionally: the more luxury Touring version versus the Performance and Track models with front air dam and several other features.
