The company’s retainers are also built from different materials to meet the requirements of various applications. Thus, Supertech offers aluminum magnesium, steel, and titanium retainers. With about 40 years of experience in developing, designing, and manufacturing racing pistons, the company currently builds a line of those parts using the latest CAD software as well as Finite Element Analysis. Supertech pistons are made from extruded high silicon, enhanced 4032 alloy that features excellent wear resistance, low thermal expansion, and high thermal conductivity. All pistons have contact reduction grooves and honed & reamed pin bores to ensure a precise fit.
