The TruXedo Lo Pro QT tonneau cover has automatic tension control. There are two spring loaded steel plungers at the front of the bed that maintain constant tension on the front header, allowing the cover to stay tight in any weather. Initially, you need to set the tension. This should be done during the warmest part of the day by closing the cover, releasing the Velcro brand fasteners from both sides near the cab, and checking compression of the spring plungers against the front header. Roll cover open to make adjustments. Repeat until satisfactory tension is achieved. Refer to the TruXedo Lo Pro QT Owners Manual for more specific information.

Yes. Your trunk is fully functional and will open approximately 85% of the way.
Yes, a Lo Pro QT will work with a drop in bed liner that goes over the bed rails. However, installation for this particular application will vary slightly from the normal installation process. Small holes (approximately 2'x4") would need to be cut in the bed liner where the clamps will be installed. This allows access to the inner lip of the truck bed. If the liner goes over the front bulkhead and creates a radius at the front, you may need to cut slits in the bed liner at the front of the bed to allow the rails to push further forward in the bed.
The reason the rails are all punched the same way is to keep them uniform, for manufacturing efficiency and to reduce tooling costs. By doing this, they are able to keep manufacturing time down to get you your orders faster and also to keep the price of products lower.
Yes, the Lo Pro QT will work with your track system. If your truck has the track system, install two clamps on each side rail, locating clamps at each end of Utili-track channels.
The design of the Nissan Frontier is that the cab partially sits over top of the bulkhead. This minimizes space for the front header to sit on the bulkhead. In order for this kit to function properly, a cab weather seal is applied to the back of the bulkhead creating a larger contact surface for sealing. By adding this cab seal, it shortens the length of the truck bed and Lo Pro QT side rails. Since the rails are shortened on the Frontier kit, there is a possibility that the standard header guides would slide off the front of the side rails. We chose to bolt the front header to the side rails through an oblong hole, which still allows the tension control to be functional and eliminates the possibility of the front header from sliding off of the side rails.

Typically, the TruXedo Deuce can be installed in 40 minutes. It requires a 9/16" wrench to tighten the 6 clamps that attach the side rails to the inside of the truck bed. You will also need a 1/2" box end wrench and ½" socket. See the Installation for more detailed installation instructions.
With the wide variety of toolboxes and cargo management systems available, this will vary by application. Here are some guidelines to follow to help you – The top of the toolbox or cargo management system must be ½" below the top of the pickup bed. The toolbox length must also be a minimum of 7" shorter than the width of the inside front of the pickup bed. Subtracting 7" allows the toolbox to be opened when the cover is rolled completely open. When the cover is flipped open, the length of the opening from the front of the bed to the hinge is 26". The toolbox should be spaced 3-4" away from the front of the pickup bed so it does not interfere with the latch.
The reason the rails are all punched the same way is to keep them uniform, for manufacturing efficiency and to reduce tooling costs. By doing this, they are able to keep manufacturing time down to get you your orders faster and also to keep the price of products lower.
Yes! Each individual anchor is rated at a working load limit of 250 pounds. The total loading for all anchor locations combined shall not exceed 1000 pounds.
We suggest that you do not attach heavy or unstable objects to TonneauTraX rails. You should only use the trucks factory bed anchors for securing unstable items or heavy items that exceed the TonneauTraX recommended load rating of the cargo anchors. Failure to do so, could cause damage to the pickup bed.
The number of anchor point locations, depends on the length of the side rail.
